In ‘World Cup of Trees’, two forests play a hundred-year game by slowly growing towards each other. The artwork is an ode to inertia, silence and fraternisation among peoples. I want to explore what is native and non-native and how the Westerner colonises the exotic. And with what kind of nature can we locally arm ourselves against global warming?
