Performance: Spiral Of Conflict

Ewerdt Hilgemann, himself a child of war, made a mural in Los Angeles in May 2017 with the names of cities that were bombed. The ruins of Dortmund, which were his playground as a child, have permanently and deeply influenced his artistic practice. Unfortunately, since his action in Los Angeles, many more names can be added to the list. Shocked by the recent events in Eastern Europe, Hilgemann decided to make a new project on the opening day of the Nature Nurture exhibition at Coppejans Gallery.

Helaas kunnen er sinds zijn actie in Los Angeles weer heel wat namen worden toegevoegd aan de lijst. Geschokt door de recente gebeurtenissen in Oost-Europa, besloot Hilgemann een nieuw project te maken op de openingsdag van de expo Nature Nurture bij Coppejans Gallery.
