Adopt an oak (year 102)

To mark 100 years of Beuys in 2020, Bart Van Dijck's Adopt an Oak project began. At the time, he sought 100 adopters for 100 oak trees he had raised. Meanwhile, these oak trees grew in 100 different places in nine different countries.

In the year 101, one oak was raised for adoption. This year, the year 102, we are looking for two adoptive parents for two new oak trees. Next year, it will be three, etc.

Those interested can come forward on Saturday 21 May at 3pm at the gallery. We will also talk briefly about the project. People who adopted an oak tree in previous years are also welcome for a reunion.
