Due to the COVID-19 crisis, the start-up of Coppejans Gallery was seriously disrupted. Because large gatherings and activities are not allowed, it is difficult to bring the artists and the public together at the start of the first working year of the gallery.<\/p>\n
That is why Stijn Coppejans decided to count down to the real start with three short exhibitions. The first and second exhibitions are already known. In a short first exhibition the visitor can get acquainted with the new Antwerp gallery space and the work of Panamarenko. On display will be 24 original drawings that served as design sketches for the pastille engine. The second exhibition will be titled Packed & Boxed<\/em> and shows work of some international artists who worked with packaging material.<\/p>\n Both the timing and the content of the third exhibition depend on the regulations concerning the corona issue.
